Over-inflate Programming
Over-Inflation Model inflates tires 25 psi over the desired set
pressure, holds for 10 seconds and deflates back to the desired set
pressure. This procedure is commonly used in testing for potential
zipper ruptures. The Smart Air® can be custom programmed to
over-inflate any psi and hold for any amount of time you specify.
(Note: There is no over-inflate programming on the 120 psi or
higher settings.)
A hardware kit is available to use the Smart Air as a replacement
controller for Ahcon tire inflation systems. |
Repeat Button/Programming
A repeat button is attached to an aluminum bracket on the side of
the Smart Air® unit. Operation for units with optional "Repeat"
programming: Select rim size and desired pressure on the keypad.
Select the repeat start button to start inflation. When you inflate
the next tire, you don’t have to key in the rim size and pressure.
Just select the repeat start button again, and the tire is inflated
to the previous setting. To cancel, press stop.

Remote Start
Switch/Programming
The remote start switch is at the end of a cable that runs along
side of the air hose. It is useful for topping off tires that are
on the vehicle. Operation for units with "Remote Start": Select
rim size and desired pressure on the keypad. Select the remote
start button to start inflation. When you inflate the next tire, you
don’t have to key in the rim size and pressure. Just select the
remote start button again, and the tire is inflated to the previous
setting. To cancel, press stop. |
Custom Programming and
Development
The keypad has 16 preset pressures. If you need different
pressures, we can build a unit with 16 pressures you select.
Other Smart Air® custom units we have designed include inflation
systems for motorcycle tires, lawn & garden tires, shock absorbers, and more. If you
